Hi Ken!
I just wanted to let you know how much I love my new piano. I wanted to call you yesterday to tell you, but I was overcome with emotion. As I sat there with my son, helping him practice his “Mary Had a Little Lamb”, I was flooded with memories of my own childhood that I had long forgotten: learning Every Good Boy Does Fine, being amazed at “Heart and Soul”, and thinking the sustain pedal was the coolest thing ever. My eyes watered with joy as I realized I was passing on my love for piano that my mom had instilled within me at an early age.
And it is the perfect size! When placed next to the bigger baby grands in your warehouse , it had looked a bit small to me, but it is actually the perfect size for my living room, allowing for plenty of seating for listeners.
Thanks again, the feeling I got yesterday from playing my piano was like a time capsule to my youth. Priceless.

As promised, here is the piano teacher, Ken Trujillo’s, contact information.
I had my first piano lesson last night from 7:15 to 9:00. It was fantastic. Ken has developed an 8 week introductory course to the piano that is very effective in getting you to learn to read music and play with both hands. I have no doubt it is going to work for me. His training regimen flows very logically. That course is the first of a series of training programs he has developed. He has it all very organized with notebooks for every lesson, CDs with the practice samples, and a classroom training program that he has developed over 30 years.
Ken does the training in groups of up to six at his training facility out by the Chatfield Reservoir. There were five in our group; there is a space left over for, perhaps, you. The facility has a number of pianos organized in a room facing a whiteboard and large computer monitor, video screens on every piano, and a TV camera on the ceiling over his keyboard so you can watch his fingering and examples. I liked the organization of the training program, the visual technology, the group energy, and the lack of distractions.
You get plenty of time to practice on your own piano for the half hour a day structured practice assignments he gives you. There is a new training notebook and CD each week you need to follow for the half hour a day mandatory practice. He has a woman that follows up on your progress (cracks the whip I think) and is there to answer any questions. She is also an instructor trained in his technique.
I recommend Ken’s program.

Hi, and thank you for inviting me to take the next set of piano classes…
I loved the first set of group classes, and I have found that I do not practice on my own like I did when I was in class, so I have not learned anything new since then. The creative way that you teach has been very helpful and I don’t want to lose what you taught us.

We put our Bergmann Queen Ann Oak piano on consignment due to the competitive consignment deal Pianos n Pianos offered. Ken was always helpful with all our queries and communicated with us at all times even though we moved to Australia before the piano sold. Pianos n Pianos got top price and were able to arrange payment promptly.

I believe I was only 8 when my Mother took me to piano lessons. During a couple months and many Hanon exercises, I had to stop since my mom could not drive me to class anymore. It took me 30 years to continue my dream. At first I was scared at the daunting task of starting piano after so long but I’m so happy I did it! Pianos n’ Pianos method has allowed me to see results well before I expected; the logical progression of challenging exercises have helped me to play melodies only after a few months. I have not only discovered a new world but it has also given me something I look forward to everyday. I wish I had not waited so long!

Consigners: I had tried unsuccessfully for nearly a year to sell my piano via online advertising, local music association newsletters and flyers at music studios and local schools. I had also contacted the leading piano retailers in Denver to inquire about consignment, only to discover that they wanted more than 30 percent of the proceeds, meaning I would net much less than I was willing to take in parting with my 6′ 4″ grand piano.
Fortunately I learned about Pianos n’ pianos from a friend and contacted Ken Trujillo. His consignment fee seemed very fair, I liked his appraisal, and I was impressed by his facility, so I signed an agreement for a 90-day period. I was very pleased when the piano sold in less than 60 days, and was satisfied with the check that I received. I would highly recommend Pianos n’ pianos to anyone trying to sell a piano.

I want to thank you for the help and service I received in selling my piano on consignment. The professional manner you demonstrated when checking out the piano, along with the casual manner and assurance to me that the piano would sell. You were kind and considerate, and in a timely manner my piano sold and you honored every aspect of our agreement. It was my pleasure doing business with you.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Pianos n’ Pianos. I had tried selling my piano through various resources, including advertisements in our local paper as well as on Craigslist, with no luck. Because of the extensive exposure my piano received by being on consignment, it sold more quickly. They handled everything very professionally and I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Yes, I love my piano – and so does my daughter. My mom finally saw it on Mother’s Day and she cried when Savannah and I played for her. Thank you again to all of you. Also, please thank Ken for his generosity with our upright and for everything that you guys have done.

There is so much I could say…the class is everything Ken said it would be… that translates into “he told me the truth”. I’m impressed when people tell me the truth.
So here goes….
I’ve wanted to play piano since I was a child, but it wasn’t to be, then. I met Ken Trujillo who told me he could teach me to play in three months. I took him up on his promise. His instruction with the ‘Unique Technique’, offered through Pianos n Pianos, has been brilliant. I was amazed at what I learned in the first class. The whole class was beaming with pride at what we had accomplished. Music is like a new language, and I’m understanding it quickly.
Thanks Ken.

Quite frankly, as a kid, I don’t recall anyone having any fun with day in and day out practice, that went on for years. Everyone in my class is having fun, eager for the next lesson. It’s all because of you Ken. You took the drudgery out of learning music. You made it attainable.
Thanks.

Absolutely! This amazing beginning class and Ken Trujillo’s teaching methods has given me confidence in playing music using both hands. I would have never imagined I could be doing this after attending just one class! The equipment in the classroom is phenomenal and Ken imparts a sense of excitement for musical awareness that had been missing in my life for so long… Thank you Ken!

Pianos n’ Pianos
Once in a great while, a shopping experience happens which is in the realm of the extraordinary. Such was our experience with Pianos n’ Pianos.
After searching for almost 6 months for just the right piano, we happened into Ken’s store and there it was: sitting by the front window calling out to be purchased. The ordinary was unacceptable. The instrument had to be exceptional in tonal quality, playability, and appearance, after all, it was to be both a wedding gift and memorial heirloom in memory of my wife’s dearly departed twin sister. The Samick German Scale grand piano exceeded all our requirements.
Ken and his staff of well trained professionals were equally exceptional. Ken did everything to make the purchase problem free, from price negotiation, to delivery, and post-delivery customer care.
If you need a piano, don’t waste time driving all over the state to the myriad of piano stores. Just get it here and save the aggravation, hassle, and disappointment of dealing with inferior vendors.
Not only did we receive an exceptional instrument at an exceptional price, we came out of the experience with a valued friend, Ken Trujillo.
