The difference is this incredible instrument is designed by (8) ‘world-class” engineers and technicians from the United States, Germany, Austria, and Japan!
BMW and MERCEDES have factories and assembled in China, however, the engineering is from Europe and the U.S. The Steinway “Essex” is made in China – Baldwin and Yamaha have factories in China! Kawai has a manufacturing license agreement with the Beijing Piano Co. to manufacture Kawai vertical pianos for marketing throughout southeast Asia, as well as, in China.
The Hailun is also assembled in China, however, it is designed and engineered by “world-class” artisans who have worked with Steinway, Baldwin, Borsendorfer, Yamaha, etc.
